Welcome To Kid’s Rock!

The LGS Rock Shop helped to create The Kid’s Rock Program to INSPIRE!
We want to spark an interest for geology and Lapidary in every child. We tumble and polish rocks crystals, and gemstones, and then send them out in grab bags to special kids upon request of schools, parents & loved ones. Our Goal is to give a Grab Bag to EVERY KID who is nominated. We want to get all of our kids interested in geology, collecting & polishing rocks. DONATIONS – Thank you for your support of our “Kid’s Rock” charity program. If you have tumbling rocks, or media and supplies to donate, please send us a message. And if you would like to help the “Kid’s Rock” program succeed in its goal; of giving a grab bag of rocks and gemstones to every kid who wants one, then we could sure use the help. You can donate to our HaugenArts/Kid’s Rock PayPal account, or anyway you choose really. Anything helps even a few dollars.

NOMINATIONS- Thank You Parents and Teachers, Our goal is to give out a free grab bag of rocks and gemstones to EVERY KID who is nominated or who wants or needs one. So please tell all those other amazing parents and teachers you know, to nominate their kids.
we will put them right on the list and send them grab bags as soon as they are tumbled and available.
Just send a private message to the Kid’s Rock page, with their fist names and a paragraph or two about the kid(s) telling us who they are, what they like, why you want them to receive a grab bag…etc.

We only use first names on our page and never give out any personal information about the child or the family. We do love to get photos & videos of the kids, especially after they open their grab bags. But it is not required in order for them to be nominated. So please tell everyone you know that…KID’S ROCK and show them by supporting our program too.

*We pay for the shipping on most nominations, however, depending on how many kids are nominated at one time, we may ask for for a $5 shipping fee, per grab bag. Thanks again for your support.
