Our Story:

We thank you for visiting our Rock Shop. We value all of our customers and consider them Family. Our goal is to provide the absolute highest quality stones, jewelry, and supplies at the very best prices to as many people as humanly possible.

As business partners, we were brought together through necessity and a single goal in mind. We met on Facebook as rockhounders and found a common bond that connected us – our love for rocks – We were unhappy with the way other groups treated their members. And so, we formed our own rockhound group. As Founding members, we started as seperate businesses, who came together and became a one-stop-shop for all things – “rocks”

Through the rockhound group we formed an unbreakable friendship and a strong business relationship. And we knew we could help a lot more people with their art, collections, and their own jewelry businesses, if we made a place that was trusted, honest, & loyal to our customers. Our members are some of the best people on the planet. And we love them all as if they are our own family; and what what a fabulous family we have:

They help each other, they share knowledge of hounding, they share rocks with each other and help each other grow as rockhounds. They have given us so much happiness, that we wanted to give them something in return, and so we began selling collector’s specimens, faceted & rough gemstones, crystals & cabochons, and silversmithed jewelry & supplies.

Our rockhound group has grown a lot since it began, but it is not really meant to be a sales group or storefront. Plus, Facebook is unreliable. And so, we wanted our new business to have a secure online presence that we could be proud of; where people could come together and enjoy beautiful rocks and jewelry and purchase everything they may need in one place. We knew that in order to pass along great products at great prices to the most people, we needed to form the LGS Rock Shop.
